Breitenburg, March 2015 – Rolf-Göran Bengtsson will not take part in the Longines FEI World Cup Final 2015. After announcing he is pulling out with Casall Ask from both the Nations Cup and the European Championship, the Swedish rider leaves his place in Las Vegas to his Belgian colleague Jos Verlooy, first European rider in the waiting list.
The updated qualified European riders are then Steve Guerdat, Bertram Allen, Kevin Staut, Marco Kutscher, Marcus Ehning, Maikel van der Vleuten, Douglas Lindelöw, Jur Vrieling, Hans-Dieter Dreher, Simon Delestre, Martin Fuchs, Geir Gulliksen, Penelope Leprevost, Sergio Alvarez Moya, Luca Maria Moneta, Pius Schwizer, Gerco Schröder and Jos Verlooy.
It is worth reminding that the American Lucy Davis, in the fourth place, and the Australian Edwina Tops-Alexander, in the sixth position, are qualified in their own respective leagues, the German Daniel Deusser, ranked tenth, his automatically qualified as the defending champion, while the Dutch Harrie Smolders, standing seventh, did not take any of his points in the Western European League.
