Doha, March 2015 – Edwina Tops Alexander scored a fantastic victory this afternoon in Doha (Qatar), when riding the little bay mare Lintea Tequila captured the first place in the Doha Csi 5st. Grand Prix. Not only she cleared both the first two rounds, but she did the same in the six-riders jump off setting the best time! She left behind the young Swiss champion Martin Fuchs on Clooney (0/0/0) and Italy’s Emanuele Gaudiano aboard Admara (0/0/4), than the World Cup champion Daniel Deusser (Germany) on Cornet d’Amour in 4th place (0/0/4), the Portuguese Luciana Diniz on Fit for Fun (5th, 0/0/4), the reigning Olympic champion Steve Guerdat (Switzerland) on Nino des Buissonnets (0/0/8). Lintea Tequila came in Alexander’s stable in 2013 from the Italian rider Licinio Grossi.
