Bologna, May 18 2022 – With the visit of the FEI delegation to Isola della Scala, the countdown to the FEI Endurance World Championship Verona 2022 has officially begun. The event is set in October 19-23rd.

FEI Endurance World Championship Verona 2022 will update the roll of honour of the endurance discipline after the titles – team and individual – awarded in 2021 in Pisa where, respectively, Spain and Salem Hamad Saeed Malhoof Al Kitbi (United Arab Emirates) reached the highest step on the podium.
A ‘green’ World Championship
The Veneto countryside of Isola della Scala, an area rich in scenic beauty and renowned for the production of IGP Vialone Nano rice, will host the highest expression of one of the most eco-friendly disciplines on the equestrian scene.
This area has had a routed partnership with horses during the past years as they played a leading role in the promotion of an eco-sustainable tourism.
Following the completion of the FEI Endurance World Championship Verona 2022, the Scala trail is designed to be transformed into a horse trail highly capable of combining tourism and the protection of beautiful landscapes, with its own ‘plus’ on horses wellbeing side, to be found on its sandy soil of the rice fields.
