Wellington, FL – November 8, 2017– The Equestrian Sport Productions Fall Finale competition concluded on Sunday, November 5, at Palm Beach International Equestrian Center (PBIEC), as Kyle Dewar jumped to another victory in the $25,000 Fall Finale Grand Prix, sponsored by Equine Tack and Nutritionals, this time aboard his own Clever Van De Helle.
A total of 19 horse and rider combinations took to the course, designed by Andy Christiansen of Wellington, FL. Ultimately Dewar, of Oconomowoc, WI, and Clever Van De Helle climb to the top of the leaderboard after completing the short course in 46.142 seconds. Second place was captured by Emanuel Andrade of Wellington, FL, and his own Cortina 186, after stopping jump-off timers in 46.173 seconds. Andrade also rounded out the third-place position after completing the jump-off in 45.015 seconds and with four faults, aboard Jenni’s Chance.
Earlier in the week, Andrade and Jenni’s Chance were victorious in the $10,000 TackNRider Stakes Class, with a jump-off time of 42.763 seconds. Second place honors went to Alexis Trosch of Wellington, FL, and her own Cortex Z, after stopping timers in 43.95 seconds. Rounding out the top three was Andrade, piloting Garinco Van De Lijnsaerd, completing the short course in 45.555 seconds.
The $2,500 Low Junior/ Amateur Owner Jumper Classic saw Bailey Brasington of Gainesville, FL, and her own Granata take top honors with a jump-off time of 37.782 seconds. Logan Renee Marksbury of Lexington, KY, and Exstream Sport Horses LLC’s Pine Creek, took second place with a jump-off time of 44.32 seconds with four faults. Andrea Correa of Wellington, FL, and her own UNE Perle Du Joret finished in third place with a time of 80.682 seconds and four faults.
The Low Child/ Adult Jumper Classic was championed by Leslie Richman of Lake Forest, IL, and her own The Other Guy rose to the top of the class with a time of 40.776 seconds in the jump-off. Bruna Silva of Windermere, FL, and Santana Stables, LLC’s Lorenza JMEN, took second place with a time of 44.91 seconds. Molly Athey of Enid, OK, and her own Cyber Space collected third place with a time of 44.085 seconds, adding four faults to their final score.
Victory in the Marshall and Sterling Child/ Adult Jumper Classic presented by Accuhorsemat, went to Ava Hoffman of North Palm Beach, FL, and Kalle, owned by Siboney Ranch, with a jump-off time of 43.03 seconds. Second place was achieved by Maddy Lima of Weston, FL, and her own Liesbeth 7, with a jump-off time of 43.242 seconds. Third place was awarded to Emerson Lane of Miami, FL, and Diddlina D’Ive Z, owned by Lane, rounding out the jump-off in 48.029 seconds.
The $500 Pony Hunter Classic saw Ansley Wright of Manalapan, FL, and Deborah Brown-Moon’s Serenade In Blue take top honors in the class. Savonna Adell of Bloomfield Hills, MI, placed second aboard her own Laugh Out Loud, while Samantha Yaques of Wellington, FL, and Charles Moorcroft’s Matilda took third place.
Isabella Watson of Lake Worth, FL, was awarded champion of the Children’s Hunter Division. Her winning ride was aboard her own Worthington. Reserve champion was presented to Lean Greenstein and Branson, owned by Greenstein.
The Green Pony Hunter Division champion of the week was Devin Vega of Elkton, MD, riding IApprove, owned by Alexa Elle Lignelli. Reserve champion was also awarded to Vega and Quicksilver Bells, owned by Lignelli.
Champion of the Equitation Adult Amateur Division went to Jocelyn Pedler-Vanik of SW Ranches, FL, and Quasar, owned by Sydney Monroe. Reserve champion was awarded to Jennifer Magee of Wellington, FL, aboard Zaloubet, owned by Richard Schechter.
Competition will resume at PBIEC with the ESP Fall Series, beginning Friday, November 10 and continuing through Sunday, November 12. ESP November, and the ESP Pre-Charity competitions will each host a $25,000 Grand Prix, and a $10,000 1.40m TackNRider Open Stake, alongside several jumper classics for junior, amateur, and adult jumper riders.
