Estoril, July 2015 – World number one Scott Brash aboard his fabulous Hello Sanctos scored victory today in Estoril in the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix. The British rider actually was lucky enough that Christian Ahlmann on Cornado II had a rail down, because the German was faster than the winner: 36.13 against 36.29… Saudi Arabia’s Abdullah Al Sharbatly came second on Domingo while Ireland’s Greg Broderick on Going Global was third also clear but more than four seconds far from the top. Germany’s Ludger Beerbaum on Chaman missed the jump off because of one time fault and so was fifth. Although his beautiful today’s win, Brash is now second in the overall Longines Global Champions Tour standings after nine GPs: the leader is still the Portuguese lady rider Luciana Diniz with 246 points, Brash 214 while Ahlmann is now third with 172. Six legs are left: everything can happen.
