Germany 6 May 2020 – On 1 May in Luhmühlen (Germany), where the last European Eventing Championships were held, the first ever show jumping competition of the Covid-19 era was held.
Authorized by the local authorities of the Lunenburg, the aim was to test in real conditions what could become the norm in the coming months. A groom for two horses, mandatory mask as soon as entering the show ground (removed during the warm-up and the course),access of the owners prohibited (and of course of the public), safety distances to observe, as many ideas as the German federation wanted to validate before presenting its solutions to reopen the equestrian centers.
