Las Vegas, April 2015 – Forty-one riders confirmed for the Longines FEI World Cup Final 2014-2015, staged in Las Vegas in a few weeks, from the 15th to the 19th April. Nineteen nationalities will be represented in the Thomas & Mack Centerby coming from all over the showjumping world.
The reigning champion won’t be missing the chance to win it again, with the German Daniel Deusser ahead of his colleagues from the Western European League: the Swiss Steve Guerdat, Pius Schwizer and Martin Fuchs, the Irish Bertram Allen, the French Kevin Staut, Pénélope Leprevost and Patrice Delaveau, the other Germans Marco Kutscher, Marcus Ehning and Hans-Dieter Dreher, the Dutch Maikel Van der Vleuten, Jur Vrieling and Gerco Schröder, the Swedish Douglas Lindelöw, the Norvegian Geir Gulliksen, the Belgian Jos Verlooy, the Spanish Sergio Alvarez Moya and the Italian Luca Maria Moneta. Eighteen riders and two more to be added: the American Lucy Davis and the Australian Edwina Tops-Alexander.
For the Central Europe League, the finalists will be the Latvians Kristaps Neretnieks and Andis Varna and the Russian Vladimir Beletskiy. As for as the Arab League is concerned Bassem Hassan Mohammed and Sheikh Ali Bin Khalid Al Thani will be competing for Qatar, while New Zealand will be in the arena with Katie Laurie.
The American continent will be split in four areas: for the North America East Coast League Todd Minikus, Laura Kraut, Elizabeth Madden, Jack Towell, Kirsten Coe, McLain Ward and Katherina A. Dinan have been selected. Rich Fellers, Karl Cook e Vinton Karrasch are at the start for the North America West Coast League. Canada is in the list with Chris Sorensen, Mexico will be represented by Manuel Alvarez Ruigalindo and Everardo Hegewisch Diaz Infante, and last but not least, Brazil is competing with Joao Eduardo Ferreira de Carvalho.
