Abu Dhabi, February 2015 – Change of venue: from Ocala, Florida, to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup 2015 goes on and after Ireland won on USA soil, the second round is now to be staged in Al Ain, only forecast leg in the Middle East region.
Presented by the President of UAE himself, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Al Ain CSIO5* is hosting tomorrow at 9.30 (GMT) the teams of Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Qatar and UAE, chasing the points for the road to the final, scheduled in Barcelona from the 24th to the 29th September.
After Ocala, the point system assigned the first scores to the nations included in the North America, Central America & Caribbean region: USA (100), Canada (90) and Mexico (80).
The same league will then stop for other two qualifying events: the CSIO4* in Coapexpan, Mexico, from the 23rd to the 26th April (next hurdle of the entire series after Abu Dhabi), and the CSIO5* in Calgary, Canada, from 11th to the 14th June. As far as the European First Division is concerned it is still early to discuss, with the first leg planned from the 29th April to the 3rd May, in Lummen, Belgium.
Lights on then in Abu Dhabi, and step by step, time for Europe will come. The President of UAE Show Jumping Cup presented by Longines offers on the final Grand Prix a price money of 350 thousand euros. For further information visit the official website www.adcsio5.com
