Gothenburg, February 2015 – Germany on top once again in the eighth leg of the Reem Acra FEI World Cup 2014-2015. Jessica von Bredow-Werndl won the Grand Prix Freestye staged this afternoon in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The rider, already leading the provisional ranking of the series, achieved aboard Unee BB the score of 81.650%, ahead of the German queen Isabell Werth, in the second position with El Santo and a percentage of 79.900%. Third place in the kür for the Dutch couple, Edward Gal and Glock’s Voice with 78.100%.
The crowd had to wait for the fourth place achieved by its home rider Patrick Kittel along with Toy Story (77.050%), followed by two other compatriots, Paulinda Friberg and Jennie Larsson. In the seventh position stood the Danish Lone Bang Larsen, while another home rider, Malin Hamilton, ended eighth. Behind her another Danish, Lena Leschly Aamanne. Tenth and eleventh places went to other two home riders, Maria von Essen and Caroline Darcourt.
On the road to the final, one more leg to go: the CDI5* in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, is scheduled from the 12th to the 15th March, in order to get the last points missing before flying to Las Vegas.
