Madrid, May 2015 – Portugal’s Luciana Diniz won yesterday night the Madrid Csi five stars Grand Prix, counting as third leg of the 2015 Longines Global Champions Tour. Riding her great companion Winningmood van de Arenberg, she scored the only double clear after the two rounds, therefore for the first time since 2011 there was no jump off. Second place went to France’s Philippe Rozier on Rahotep de Toscane clear in the first round but one time fault in the second, third came local hero Manuel Fernandez Saro on Enriques of the Lowlands with two time faults in the first round and clear in the second. After three Global Champions Tour legs the overall current leader is Great Britain’s Scott Brash with 73 points, 2nd Luciana Diniz with 69, 3rd Qatar’s Bassem Hassan Mohammed with 66, fourth Germany’s Hans Dieter Dreher with 59, fifth USA’s Laura Kraut with 58
