Rotterdam, June 2015 – After the great British success Friday in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup, CSIO Rotterdam still speaks English, although with a little American accent: yesterday the US rider Lucy Davis won the Grand Prix aboard his brilliant partner Barron. Fifty couples went in the arena to jump the Louis Konickx’s first round and sixteen were clear; then twelve were clear again in the second round, leaving the clock to decide. Lucy Davis settled the overall fastest time in 39.49, while the 2014 World Cup champion – Germany’s Daniel Deusser aboard Cornet d’Amour – crossed the finishing line in 39.86. Third came Marcus Ehning on Comme Il Faut for Germany again in 40.78.
