Leipzig, January 2016 – Niklas Krieg signed his very first success in a World Cup Grand Prix by winning today the ninth leg of the European League in Leipzig (Germany). Born in January 14th, 1994, the young son of the international rider Andreas Krieg went in a fourteen riders jump off aboard his great partner Carella (12 years old Holsteiner mare by Clearway x Concerto II): only two couples scored a clear round but not as fast as Krieg did, therefore Ireland’s Denis Lynch on All Star stayed in second place and the Dutch Harrie Smolders in third. Niklas Krieg rode three European Championships as a young rider aboard Carella (and one junior) winning the gold and the silver team medal in 2014 and 2015.
