Paris, April 2015 – Romain Duguet was born in France in 1980 but since January 2013 he becomes Swiss because of the marriage with a Swiss lady rider: therefore the National anthem and the flag played and raised today in the beautiful Grand Palais were those of Switzerland. Duguet must be so much delighted: this is his very first major success in an inteternational career started in 2006; actually his first Grand Prix win took place last year in Chevenez, but that one was a two stars show: nothing to compare with one of the most important competition in the world like the Saut Hermes. Duguet riding the Selle Français mare Quorida de Treho (born in 2004 by Kannan) went in a eight-riders jump off: Australia’s Amy Graham on Bella Baloubet and the Swiss Steve Guerdat were clear again but not fast enough… With one rail down Belgium’s Gregory Wathelet on Oh d’Eole, Germany’s Marcus Ehning on Cornado, France’s Philippe Rozier on Rahotep de Toscane, Australia’s Edwina Alezander Tops on Lintea Tequila and Germany’s Christian Ahlmann on Epleasure van het Heike.
