Valkenswaard, August 2015 – Swiss rider Pius Schwizer aboard Psg Junior took the CSI5* Artisan Farm Prix trophy, Thursday big class in Valkenswaard, at the 12th leg of the Global Champions Tour. Sheikh Ali Bin Khalid Al Thani (QAT) performed a double clear in 38.25 on First Devision while Christian Ahlmann (GER) took third place with his stallion, Colorit, finishing in 38.37s.
On a field of 55 starters,21 riders lined up ahead for the second round, but only 12 managed to achieve the second clear roung. Among them, Pénélope Leprevost (FRA) put forward a strong performance with her mare Nice Stephanie, as did Marco Kutscher (GER), Lauren Hough (USA), Simon Delestre (FRA), home rider Willem Greve (NED), Edwina Tops-Alexander (AUS) and Scott Brash (GBR).
Earlier in the day Luca Maria Moneta (ITA) rode Bonheur S to victory in the early morning opening speed class.
On Friday opening ceremony will take place at 19:00 local time, ahead of the exhilarating Team Competition which kicks off at 19:40. Both will be streamed live via GCT TV
