Montecarlo, June 2015 – Scott Brash clearly explained today why he is world number one. The British rider won the two competitions scheduled for the last Csi 5st day in Montecarlo, the last one being the Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix. He rode first Hello Annie and then Hello M’Lady, in both classes leaving John Whitaker in the second place. Nine riders went in the GP jump off after the first two rounds. Germany’s Christian Ahlmann aboard Taloubet Z settled the overall fastest time but with one rail down. John Whitaker rode a fantastic jump off aboard Argento, but not fast enough to leave Scott Brash behind. The world number one came in the ring second last and pushed his partner Hello M’Lady as much as possible. Last to go was Emanuele Gaudiano on Admara: the Italian rider eventually captured the third place with a fast but careful clear round.
