Graz, February 2015 – Lisa Wild is the home queen winner of the Vaulting FEI World Cup 2014-2015, held today in Graz, Austria. After the freestyles, the athlete put her hands on the title for her first time in her career, leaving to the defending champion, the Italian Anna Cavallaro, the third place.
The Austrian vaulter, supported by her compatriots, recorded a final score on both rounds of 9,018, short ahead of the Swiss Simone Jäiser who ended in the second place with 9,008, while Cavallaro had to settle for 8,631 points.
For the boys, the French Nicolas Andreani, working his magic, signed once again a victorious final with a score of 8,964. Behind him two Germans, Thomas Brüsewitz in second place (8,726) and Julian Wilfling (8,546) in the third position.
Germany got even with the pas de deux class, where the gold couple Gera Marie Grün and Justin Van Gerven took control of the final ending first with 7,872 points.
