Helsinki, October 2015 – Thirteen riders went through to the jump-off today in Helsinki, for the second leg of the Longines FEI World Cup Jumping 2015/2016 Western European League. It was Romain Duguet to set the fastest time riding his chestnut mare Quorida de Treho, leaving behind Great Britain’s Jessica Mendoza on Spirit T and Germany’s Daniel Deusser aboard Cornet d’Amour. “I know Jessica is so fast and her horse is also so fast but I knew my mare could do better!”, said the winner. “She’s wonderful, she’s one of the best in the world, she’s fast, she’s scopey and she’s careful – she’s got everything you need for a very top horse. I have had her in my stables since she was 7 years old and now, four years later, she is performing at the highest level”, he said proudly.
