Bruxelles, September 2016 – The Dutch Jumping Team headed to Barcelona is announced: the national equestrian federation declared the names for the FEI Furusiyya Nations Cup finals in Barcelona, held from 22th to 25th of September, 2016.
For the Netherlands chef d’equipe Rob Ehrens has choosen Harrie Smolders with Emerald, Gerco Schröder with Glock’s London, Maikel van der Vleuten with Verdi, Jeroen Dubbeldam with Carusso La Silla and Wout-Jan van der Schans with Capetown.
It is evermore likely that the two latter riders will soon see their top horses been auctioned online: Jeroen Dubbeldam will be separated from Zenith and Wout-Jan will probably stop competing with Aquila. Both horses were in ownership of the Springpaardefonds Nederland (SFN).
