Rome, August 2016 – Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi declared Saturday 27th August a national day of mourning for the victims of the devastating earthquake that hit part of Central Italy. Flags will be flown at half-mast on public buildings throughout the country.
The sport world will gather by observing a minute of silence in all sport events patronised by CONI (Italian National Olympic Committee).
