Randbøldal, October 2016 – With its CDI3* status the Blue Hors Dressage Festival – one of the most high-profiled dressage shows in Denmark – is now open to international riders aiming to compete in Big and/or Small Tour in outstanding facilities in Randbøldal, Denmark, on 17-20 November 2016.
Blue Hors Dressage Festival saw the light of day in November 2013 and has been an unconditional success ever since. In a period of only three years the show has established itself on the Danish dressage scene as one of the most prestigious and attractive national shows with an international atmosphere, and as from 2016 the Blue Hors Dressage Festival is launched as a three star international dressage show.
In addition to a number of national classes from Youngster Cup to Grand Prix the CDI3* Blue Hors Dressage Festival offers an international small tour with Prix St. Georges and Intermediate I classes and a big tour with Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle.
Blue Hors is one of Europe’s leading EU stallion stations with everything under one roof; breeding stallions, sport and sales horses and their very own line of care and grooming products for horses.
Through their stallions – which include internationally renowned sires like Blue Hors Don Schufro and Blue Hors Zack – they strive to promote and improve the breeding of dressage horses, annually serving 1,500-2,000 mares in Denmark and abroad.
Their riders participate in national as well as international competitions. Blue Hors riders have won numerous Danish Dressage Championships and competed at the Olympic Games, World Equestrian Games and Europeans Championships. Blue Hors has produced international riders such as Lars Petersen, Andreas Helgstrand, Sune Hansen, Maria A. Andersen and Daniel Bachmann Andersen.
