Dettighofen, November 2016 – Now it is definitely: World Cup winner Albführen’s Paille will return to the Hofgut Albführen in Dettighofen, Germany, where the mare shall pass her successful genes to her offspring in the breeding.
Carefully and wisely, Steve Guerdat and the owner of Albführen’s Paille have decided to allow the mare, who has given them so much in the past, to prematurely retire due to her long-standing injury.
With great gratitude, Steve looks back on the unfortunately far too short time he was given to spend with the exceptional mare, with which he could win the 2015 World Cup in Las Vegas, and he will always hold her up in his heart and memory. From the first jointly contested courses, every appereance and every tournament was always fulfilled by splendid performances and at the same time a special connectedness between Paille and Steve.
With these few lines, Steve would also like to thank Mr. Walter Frey from the heart, that he had entrusted him with this fantastic mare, but also for the confidence and continuous trust and the ongoing cooperation with the Hofgut Albführen, with Albführen’s Happiness and some other promising young horses.
