Lausanne, December 2016 – It’s time to start focusing on the World Equestrian Games 2018 in Tryon, North Carolina, as the qualifications for all the disciplines will start on the first of January 2017.
The dressage’s qualification criteria are not known yet but what is sure is that teams will be composed by four riders and four horses with a discard score expected to be a minimum of 64% on a CDI3* competition or higher. Every country will also put requirements for their own riders.
The Tryon International Equestrian Center organizes every year about 40 competitions and at this time preparations already started for the World Equestrian Games scheduled in less than two years. A total of 840 horses for all disciplines will travel to reach the USA for the second time in the Weg’s history. Lexington 2010 was the first edition of to take place out of Europe since 1990.
